Quality assurance developer (m/f/d).
We are looking for a dedicated employee to join the Pointly family. Either for our headquarters in the heart of Berlin or remotely.

Your tasks:
You will play a crucial part of our development team and create a link to our customers and their feedback and help to assure the quality of the products and solutions we develop. You reproduce reported problems, create bug tickets, analyze the underlying problems, and ultimately fix them. You will have the chance to become familiar with the whole tech stack.
The focus of your work will be on our platform ‘Pointly’ for the classification of 3D point clouds as well as the related services and projects. Pointly is constantly being developed further, which gives you a lot of responsibility and freedom to contribute your own ideas and work in a dynamic, ambitious team.
Your training:
University degree in computer science or similar field
Your profile:
- Experience as a software developer
- Solid knowledge of at least one object oriented programming language
- Good programming practice:
o Writing well-structured, reusable, documented code
o Versioning with git
o Conscientious unit testing - One or more of the following (and desire to get more familiar with the others):
- Python knowledge
- Hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem: Azure Function, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Storage Queue, Active Directory B2C, ADOS (Azure DevOps), CosmosDB, SignalR.
- Experience with point clouds, particularly the las/laz format
- Experience in Web API
- Experience with SPA JavaScript frameworks (React), HTML5, CSS.
Other Features:
You have a Challenge-Oriented Mindset
- You are familiar with agile process frameworks (SCRUM) and ideally have experience using Azure DevOps Services as a project management tool
- Very good knowledge of English (C1)
- Capability and willingness to work independently
- Desire to crack hard nuts
- Bonus points are awarded for
o Experience in the processing of point clouds
