JavaScript Frontend Developer – Three.js / React (m/f/d).
For our headquarters in the heart of Berlin, we are looking for a dedicated employee to join the Pointly Family. Do you enjoy developing creative solutions to challenging problems? Your tasks:
You will be responsible to maintain and further develop a web-based viewer and annotation tool for large point clouds.
The focus of your work will be on our platform ‘Pointly’ for the classification of 3D point clouds as well as the related services and projects. Pointly is constantly being developed further, which gives you a lot of responsibility and freedom to contribute your own ideas and work in a dynamic, ambitious team.
Your training:
University degree in computer science or similar field
Your profile:
You are a JavaScript front-end developer ideally with experience working with 3D data and 3D-rendering technologies. Familiarity with the point cloud viewer Potree would be a nice plus.
You have experience with:
- Rendering 3D scenes within a web browser with Three.js
- Building interactive UI web applications ideally with React and Redux
- Point cloud rendering and visualization in Potree
Nice to have:
- Experience with Lidar data, point clouds, CAD and vector data
- Familiarity with UI/UX concepts, to create a responsive user interface
- Experience in the processing of geodata
- Familiarity with WebPack, gulp, babel and SASS
Additional characteristics:
- Familiarity with agile processes (SCRUM) and ideally experience in using Azure DevOps Services as a project management tool
- Keen to share knowledge with others and to keep learning
